Walter Volbrecht

Walter “Wally” H. Volbrecht, age 89 of the Township of Crystal Lake, Marquette County, joined God and the angels on Thursday, July 2, 2009. He was born on May 17, 1920 in Milwaukee, son of the late Walter C. and Lillian (Steiner) Volbrecht. Wally married Elaine Engel on November 7, 1942, she preceded him in death on June 15, 1998.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Donald) Rodig, Westfield and Vicki (Richard) Jaeger, Sussex; five grandchildren, Deborah (Jerry) Deglow, Douglas (Cyndi) Stauss, Lisa (Mark) Haefner, Jeffrey (Carolyn) Jaeger and Amy (Alan) Anderson; 14 great grandchildren; one loving sister, Nancy (Walt) Naab, Township of Crystal Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.
A funeral service for Wally will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma with Pam Werth Diaconal Minister officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Township of Westfield. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Agnes Hospice Hope.
