Verna Schultz

Verna Ruth Schultz, age 90 of Waukesha, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 4, 2015. She was born on June 1, 1925 in the Town of Harris, daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Wachholz) Hillmer. Verna married Larry A. Schultz on August 14, 1946. Larry preceded her in death on October 8, 1992. She worked as a waitress at Buries Supper Club/Asia Restaurant in New Berlin for 30 years. What Verna enjoyed the most was spending time at her Wood Lake cabin in the Westfield area.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Schultz, Waukesha; two sisters in law, Ellen Hillmer, Bend, OR and Doris Hillmer, Fond du Lac; many nieces, nephews and their families and friends. Verna was preceded in death by her three brothers, Elmer, Arnold (Betty) and Harold Hillmer; one sister, Adeline (Jerry) Ellinger.

A funeral service for Verna will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home of Westfield with Rev. Peter Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
