Tom Persack, age 68, a lifelong resident of Harrisville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at his home.
He was born on December 23, 1955, to Don (Pa) and LaVerne (Marquardt) Persack (Ma).
Tom worked at Power Packer in Westfield for many years and finished his work career at Petro in Portage.
Some of his loves in early years included many leagues in the Westfield area, such as shooting pool, bowling, and slow pitch softball. He also was an avid lover of professional sports including MLB, NBA, and of course the NFL and the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed deer hunting and hunted on Ma and Pa’s farm property for many years, which eventually became his home. In later years, Tom enjoyed playing Disc Golf with his brother, always searching for that elusive hole in one! He also would never say No if someone asked him “Want to play a game of Cribbage?”
Tom is survived by his two sisters, Bonnie (Larry) Capes and Patty Magee, a brother, Mike (Shelly) Persack, and former wife and special friend, Diane Persack. Tom is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Donna Rose, and a niece, Ronni Miller, along with other extended relatives.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
Please take a moment to view the online Tribute Wall. Send your condolences or share a memory of Tom with his family & friends.
