Suzanne Kemnitz, age 79 of Westfield, passed away Monday morning, January 4, 2021 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Suzanne was born in Berwyn, Cook County, Illinois to Alice (Guillaume) Rutar and Wesley Jandos on January 6, 1941. She married Glenn Kemnitz Sr. at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Richford, and together they had four children. Suzanne worked at different places, but she loved being a stay-at-home housewife. Suzanne loved nature, feeding birds, reading, and taking care of her family. Suzanne will be remembered for being accepting to all who came to her home, love of a good cup of coffee and the love of her family by her side.
Suzanne is survived by her four children: Glenn Jr. (Tami) of Westfield, Peggy (Brian) Russell of Oxford, Margery (Larry) Budiac of West Bend, WI and Mary (Denny Cochrane) Kemnitz of Westfield. As well as eight grandchildren: Jeremy (Cari), Amanda, Hanna (Travis), Mayghan, Lukas, Michael (Stephanie), Ashley (Donald), and Douglas. As well as ten Greatgrandchildren: Wesley, Carmen, Lucius, Layla, Tori, Isaiah, Hayden, Aaron, Logan and Claire. She is also survived by one brother, Walter (Mary) Schultz, two sisters, Elizabeth (William) Pfister and Alice Schultz.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Glenn Kemnitz, Sr., parents, Alice (Guillaume) Rutar and Wesley Jandos, and one brother, Robert Schultz.
A memorial service for Glenn Sr., Suzanne and Glenn Jr. will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Christian Community Church with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating. Inurnment will be held following the service at Pleasant View Cemetery, Town of Springfield. Please join the family for a luncheon following the inurnment service at the Springfield Town Hall. Due to everyone’s generosity at the time Glenn Sr., Suzanne and Glenn Jr. passed away, the family is asking for no further memorials at this time.
