Stacy Marie DeFord

Stacy Marie DeFord, beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend departed from this life on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 38.  She was born on May 12, 1984 in Portage to Van and Darcy (Mills) Johnston Sr.  Stacy spent her entire life in Wisconsin and attended school in Adams.  She loved her adoring daughters, creating art, listening to all types of music, walking outdoors, and most importantly the chance to make people happy.  Stacy is now in peace and watching over her two beautiful girls, Alexas and Mercy.

Stacy will be dearly missed by her mother, Darcy Stafford; her beautiful daughters, Alexas DeFord and Mercy Selbach; sisters, Holly, Heather and Kim; brother, Brian and her many family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Van Johnston Sr. and brothers, James and Van Jr.

A memorial service for Stacy will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Marquette Community Church, 610 Doty St., Montello with Pastor Mike Vargo officiating.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
