Shirley Mallon

Shirley Ann Mallon, age 74 of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on January 29, 1936 in North Leeds, WI, daughter of the late Sylvia Gallagher. Shirley was raised by her late beloved aunt and uncle Elizabeth and Alvin Halverson. She was united in marriage to Dean Mallon on May 2, 1959, he preceded her in death on December 21, 1981. Shirley was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and helping in raising grandchildren, Trevor, Missy and Zac.
Survivors include her ten children, Terri Halverson, Fond du Lac, Dennis (Karen) Mallon, Greenfield, Debra (Jesse Lavrenz) Pixley, Fond du Lac, Bev (Jeff Schmidt) Ingalls, Oakfield, Jeff Mallon, Westfield, Susan Mallon, Beaver Dam, Richard Mallon, Beaver Dam, Tina Mallon, Fond du Lac, Bonnie Mallon, Fond du Lac and Del Mallon, Beaver Dam; 27 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty (Roger) Hillestead, Lodi, Jeanette Jacobs, Beaver Dam and Marlene (Raymond) Royer, New Hampshire; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and William Gallagher; one granddaughter, Destiny Mallon.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield with Rev. Michael Richel officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour service at the church. Burial will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, North Leeds (Keyeser).
