- Our beloved Mom, Sharon Ann Cullen, age 85 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025 at Heritage House in Portage due to a sudden illness.
-
- She was born on July 27, 1939 in Winona, MN to Gerald and Mae (Brophy) Kopp, then living in Trempealeau, WI. Her family moved to a farm in Westfield when she was a young teenager and she graduated from Westfield High School, Class of 1957. Sharon met William “Bill” Cullen while at WHS and they were married on August 8,1958. They lived out their lives in Westfield.
-
- Sharon was an active community member, involved in many ways, such as; working the polls, leading Cub & Girl Scouts, organizing WHS Alumni gatherings, and volunteering with The Friends of the Library. She was a devoted, founding member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church where she served the church in multiple ways throughout her life. She was employed at the M&I Bank in town for over 30 years. But her most avid craft and hobby was sewing. She was an excellent seamstress, and could sew just about anything.
-
- Sharon was most proud of the strong woman she was and that she raised strong children who she sent off into the world to “live their lives.” We will miss her, and will always carry her strength within us.
-
- She is survived by her five children: Terry, Tim (Christine), Chris (Cheri), Mike (Corky) Cullen and Linda (Paul) Horanoff; nine grandchildren: Marcus (Lindsey), Chad, Chase (Alyssa), Taylor (Chris), Micah, Brandon, Jack, Mercedes (Lucas) and Hazel; four great-granddaughters: Eloise, Harper, Vivienne and Emma; and other relatives, friends and caring neighbors.
-
- She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Gary Sandberg; and her parents.
