Scott Gollnick

Scott R. Gollnick, age 78 of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 12, 1937 in Amherst, WI to Martin and Laura (Johnson) Gollnick. Scott proudly served his country in the United States Navy for six years. He married Barbara Nelson on June 5, 1981. Scott worked with heavy steel in Berlin for 31 years. He enjoyed trap shooting and model trains.

Survivors include his wife, Barb; two children, Teresa and Thomas Gollnick, both of Westfield; one sister, Linda Mays; two brothers, Harlan (Dawn) and Don (Lorraine) Gollnick; many other relatives and friends. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Irene Ruck; two brothers, Gerald (Judy) and Phillip (Doris) Gollnick; brother in law, Dick Mays.

A memorial service for Scott will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. Inurnment will be in Westfield East Cemetery with full military honors by Westfield Area Veterans. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
