Sally Yopps

Sally J. Yopps, age 78 of Harrisville, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at her home in Harrisville. She was born in Waukesha on April 3, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Beulah (Wallace) Welch.
Sally is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Yopps Jr. and son, Michael Yopps. She is survived by one son, David (Deb Smitka) Yopps of Greenfield; three daughters, Kathy (Gary) Badura of Vernon, Susan (Richard) Drabek of Palmyra and Patty (Pete Zaehringer) VandeCasteele of Coloma; five grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Michaela, Lindsey and Mindy. Other survivors include Rick VandeCasteele and Maureen Schulthess.
The family would like to thank her loyal friends and caregivers, Noreen Stock and Carol Weiss, Richard Johnson for bringing so much sunshine into her life, the staff of St. Agnes Hospice, and all of her devoted friends for their loving care.
A memorial service for Sally will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 12:30 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Chaplan Mary Ketterhagen officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Budda Box of Marquette County. Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Westfield served the family.
