Biography Rosemary Tolbert (Olejniczak) age 92 of Coloma, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Berlin Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 17, 1923 in Joliet, IL to Stephen and Cecilia (Fordonski) Olejniczak. Rosemary married Rolla Tolbert Sr. on January 29, 1942 in Arizona. Rolla preceded her in death on April 7, 1983. Most of her life was devoted to taking care of her family. She loved to crochet, make crafts with plastic canvas, do word puzzles and especially play bingo. In her younger years she loved to bake. Her chocolate cake and potica were very good and at Christmas she made a lot of cookies and candy. Rosemary was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Coloma.
Survivors include four daughters, Judy (Don) Wentland, Coloma, Kathy (Leo) Baughman, Plover, Pam (Jeff) Mohr, Oxford and Barb (Rick Jensen) Footit, Rapid City, SD; two sons, James Tolbert, Westfield and Rolla Tolbert Jr., Packwaukee. 14 grandchildren, Donald (Joan) Wentland Jr., Thomas (Michelle) Wentland, Tami (Dan) Creighbaum, Melissa (Neil) Henriksen, Stephanie (Paul Moore) Baughman, Kim (Telo) Ebert, Kelly (Jody) Bowman, Kevin (Angie) Tolbert, Nick (Kayla) Footit, Pauline (Ken) Martoglio, Penny (Jeff) Swinney, Scott Bohnsack, Will Mohr and Linda Vista; 22 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two daughters in law, Marlene and Kathy Tolbert; two sisters in law, Dorothy Olejniczak and Anna Chaloupka; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rolla Sr.; two sons, Ronald and Donald Tolbert; infant daughter, Patricia Tolbert; five brothers, Bernard (Caroline), Norbert and Joe (Vera), Constance and Ignatius Olejniczak and two sisters, Stella (Stanley) Semplinski and Lucy (Pete) Semplinski.
A funeral service for Rosemary will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma with Rev. Jacob Gawlik officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
