Ronald Theodore Frank

December 2, 1949-March 8, 2018

Ronald T. Frank, age 68 of Harrisville, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family at Tivoli in Portage, WI, on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Ron was born December 2, 1949 to Edward and Mildred (Schauer) Frank and lived his entire life in Harrisville, WI.

Graduating with the Westfield High School Class of 1968, he continued his education at U.W. Madison where he completed a short course in Agriculture. Ron sang with the Marchord Barbershoppers and was the first president of the Harrisville Lion’s Club and a member of the Harris Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed nature, hunting and fishing. Ron will be remembered for his kindheartedness and generosity in helping others and in his ability to be a faithful and hardworking farmer and trucker. He married the love of his life, Linda Resheske Marotz, July 4, 2003; and she remained by his side as a caring partner.

He also leaves the family he loved, children: Sarah E. Winger, Edward R. Frank (Angie), Timothy M. Frank (Nichole). Step children: Brian Marotz (Sue), Andrea Gorton (Troy). Siblings: Phyllis Ingram, Ralph “ Ephraim” Frank (Rimona), Faye Lentz (Steve) and his mother-in-law Audrey Resheske. Grandchildren: Allen Grotzke, Kaylie Winger, Taylor Bilberry, Mackenzie and Natalie Frank, Leo and Eve Frank, Emma and Trey Gorton, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents Edward and Mildred Frank, father-in-law Ralph Resheske and his brother-in-law, Michael Ingram.

The family thanks the staff at Tivoli, Dr. Blohm and Agrace Hospice for the wonderful care Ron received, and to Steinhaus-Holly Funeral home for their services.

Family and friends are invited to help celebrate Ron’s life on Saturday, March 24th 2018 with a visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Robert Thays officiating at Harrisville Sportsmen’s Club Community Center in Harrisville. A lunch will be held at the conclusion of the service.
