Ronald Balsiger

Ronald C. Balsiger of Harrisville, WI, formerly of Germantown, WI, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 70 years of age. He was born on May 3, 1945 in Port Washington, WI. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lorinda (nee Rusch). Beloved husband of Delores (nee Bormann) for 51 years. Loving father of William (Debbie), Lorelei (Kurt Enders), Scott (Jackie) and Todd (Dallas). Proud grandfather of Grace (Ralph Ramirez), Elizabeth, Julianna (Jack Pfeifer), Janelle, Caleb, Josh, Zach, Luke, Alivia, Jack and Lily. Great grandfather of Royce, Jaida and Emma. Dear brother of Elaine (Fred Linstedt), David (Debby) and Judy (Ken Zorn). Loved by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, pheasant/deer hunter and bow hunter. He loved spending time at the cabin, in his woodshop and with his grandchildren and friends. He had a passion for trapshooting and was a member of the Harrisville Sportsmen’s Club and Westfield Rod & Gun Club. He also enjoyed pitching shoes, playing sheeps head and cribbage. He was a lifelong carpenter starting his apprenticeship after high school and later starting his own business. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life and Benefit for Ron will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 2 – 9 p.m. at the Harrisville Sportsmen’s Club, W5079 County Road J, Westfield, WI 53964. ALL are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to John Madson P.O. Box 191, Coloma WI, 54930.
