Romaine Riley

Romaine V. Riley, age 86 of Montello, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Divine Savior Hospital, Portage. He was born July 6, 1926 in Madison. Romaine served in the United States Navy as a diesel engineer from 1944 – 1946. He married Lorraine H. Banaszynski on October 18, 1952 in Milwaukee.

Survivors include six children, Kathleen (Randall Czeszynski) Riley, Patrick (Pam) Riley, Susan Richter, Carol (Dan) Mulholland, Diane (David) Rau and Michelle Riley; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and one brother in law, Jerome Banaszynski. Romaine was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Riley; grandson, Mark Mulholland, son in law, Lawrence Richter, two brothers in law, Erwin and Norbert Banaszynski and four sisters in law, Irene, Evelyn and Phyllis Banaszynski and Bernadine (nee Banaszynski) Bruske.

A graveside service for Romaine will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Mequon with Rev. Tim Kitzke officiating.
