Robert “Bobby” R. Zinke, age 79 of Stoughton, formerly of Oxford, passed away due to injuries from a fall on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at HospiceCare Inc. in Madison. He was born on July 1, 1929 in Oxford, son of the late Richard and Marguerite (Smith) Zinke. Bobby was a loving and caring person who made people smile. He was dearly loved by his family. Bobby enjoyed growing up and living on the family farm in Oxford for most of his life and in his later years living at McCarthy Home in Stoughton.
Survivors include his two sisters, Helen Thompson, Madison and Margie (Richard) Ramker, Stoughton; sister in law, Mollie Zinke, Oxford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Zinke; brother in law, Richard Thompson and niece, Cherie Riley.
A funeral service for Bobby was held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Oxford Bible Church, Oxford with Rev. Donald Wedel officiating. Interment was in Oxford Village Cemetery. A visitation was held on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Bobby, we will miss you but we know that you are in Heaven and in the arms of mom and dad.
