Robert Schrank

Robert “Bob” E. Schrank, age 82 of Montello, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15th, 2020 at Harris Villa Assisted Living in Westfield. He was born February 1st, 1938 to Albert and Irene (Mike) Schrank in Richford. Robert was baptized February 13th, 1938 and confirmed July 6th, 1952 at the Lutheran Church in Richford. On November 14th, 1964, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Twachtman.

Bob started working at Westfield Milling as a ground man and trained to become a lineman. He worked for L.E. Meyers Company as a lineman and later became foreman. He worked a short time for Wisconsin Associated and assisted in the construction of the Pleasant Prairie Power House. Bob continued as a lineman for E-con.

Bob was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Big Mecan), where he was active in many areas of the church.

Bob loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and working in his yard. Everyone knew Bob for his bright red truck with the “Lineman” license plate.

Survivors include many relatives and friends.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and parents, Albert and Irene Schrank.

A graveside service for Bob will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery (Big Mecan), Town of Mecan with Rev. Peter D. Zietlow officiating.
