Robert D. Guderski

Robert “Bob” David Guderski, age 87 of Harrisville passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 at UW Hospital in Madison. Bob was born in Princeton to Stanley and Isabel (Krentz) Guderski on January 21, 1937. He graduated from Westfield High School in 1954 and married Anne Johnson at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Westfield on August 21, 1965. Bob and Anne were blessed with two children.

Bob began his career hauling milk and working on the family farm and then worked at the Marquette County Highway Department for 27 years. Bob was also a member of the Army National Guard of Wisconsin, the Harris Volunteer Fire Department and worked as an EMT for Marquette County. In retirement, Bob volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Guardian Angels, and the Marquette County Food Bank. He loved farming, planting trees, cutting wood, traveling, watching sports and listening to country music. 

Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anne and two children: Mark of Harrisville and Beth (Mike) McBurney of Lakeville, MN. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Marisa McBurney as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Allen (Ruth) and Gary.

A visitation to celebrate the life of Robert “Bob” Guderski will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield. A brief prayer service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Marquette County First Responders and the doctors and nurses at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage and UW Hospital in Madison.
