Ray Street Sr

Ray Street Sr., age 71 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Montello Care Center. He was born on July 15, 1941 in the Town of Packwaukee, son of the late Fred and Mae (Becraft) Street. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver for many years until his retirement. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, growing flowers and spending time with his beloved dog, Dolly. He was always willing to help anyone and he always had a story to tell.

Survivors include his four children, Carol (Joe) Trumann, Jefferson, Becky (Bob) Heilmeier, Westfield, Kelly (Pat Hopkins) Street, Oxford and Ray Street Jr., Westfield; five grandchildren, Samantha and Sabrina Street, Jonathan and Joshua Casey and Hailey Callies-Heilmeier; the mother of his children, Linda Carney, Westfield; sisters, brothers, other relatives and many friends. Ray was preceded in death by infant twin daughters, numerous brothers and a sister.

A memorial service for Ray will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating. Full Military Honors will follow the service at the funeral home. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
