Ralph Barney

Ralph W. Barney, age 75 of Westfield, WI, formerly of Rockford, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at his home. He was born on March 23, 1931 in Tomahawk, WI, son of the late Henry and Belinda (Hartwig) Barney. Ralph married Helen Chambers on June 7, 1981 in Rockford, IL. He served his country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Helen; three daughters, Kris (Leo) Austin, FL, Vickie (Rick) Thompson, IL and Chris Sicotte, IL; three granddaughters, Keli Whitman, Lisa Luna and Cara Sicotte; one great granddaughter, Juliana Rostamo; one sister, Gen Rampart, Merrill, WI; other relatives and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Darwin Barney.
A funeral service for Ralph will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 12:00 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Rev. Robert Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Westfield East Cemetery with full military honors. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
