Phil Magestro

Phil A. Magestro returned to the arms of Jesus, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters in law. Phil is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 39 years and two brothers in law. He was loved by his six children, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is further survived by other family members and close friends.

Phil worked at Milwaukee County Airport as a supervisor for many years. Phil and Dorothy moved to Montello permanently in 2005 after spending many years traveling together from their home in Milwaukee to their campsite at Buffalo Lake Campground and then on to their property in Packwaukee Township. Phil enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his wife, Dorothy and faithful companion, Daisy. He found a home in Trinity Lutheran Church where he found many new friends and acquaintances – “His beloved church family”

A memorial visitation for Phil will be on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Packwaukee with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Sheppard officiating. Inurnment will be in Underhill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee. Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of Packwaukee or Agrace HospiceCare.
