Pauline Petersdorff

Pauline Petersdorff, age 85 of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Harris Villa, Westfield.

Pauline was the daughter of Robert and Martha (Kohlman) Prissel.  She was born and raised in Durand, WI where her parents lived and farmed. Pauline lived in Harrisville with her husband Vernon “Pete” and had owned Dorff II Tavern.

Pauline enjoyed sharing her cooking with the patrons of Dorff II Tavern, being outdoors, gardening, organizing and taking bus trips and playing cards and other games.  She especially enjoyed being with family and visiting with friends.  Pauline’s biggest devotion was to God and to the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield.

Pauline is survived by one son, David Kannel; two daughters, Deb (Ed) Mockler and Lisa (Jeff) Buchholz; step daughter, Sharon (Jim) Dahlke; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Anderson.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete; her parents, and brothers, Robert and Leon Prissel.

Following Pauline’s wishes, a private family Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Westfield with Father Savio Yerasani officiating. Inurnment will be in the Harrisville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Pauline’s name.

The family would like to thank Nan and the staff at Harris Villa and the staff of St. Croix Hospice  for their compassion and kindness to our mom and to us, during her time at the Villa.
