Patricia “Pat” S. Rogers, age 60 of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah. She was born on May 12, 1948 in Denver, Co, daughter of the late George “Bud” and Jeanne (Ross) Stewart. Pat married Tom Rogers on August 16, 1980 at their home near Princeton. She had an extreme love of animals, especially cats, hunting dogs and above all, Paint Quarter Horses. Pat enjoyed fly fishing and she was a dedicated member of First Presbyterian Church, Westfield where she was moderator of the Deacon’s. Pat served the Lord joyfully and cheerfully.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Rogers; two step children, Matson (Kathy) Rogers, Bozeman, MT, Kate (Charles) Arnold, Chicago, IL; 5 step grandchildren, Samuel, Sydney and Sawyer Rogers and Elizabeth and Josie Arnold; one sister, Pam (Stan) Griffis, Apache Junction, AZ; mother in law, Virginia (Edward) Kashishian, Green Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service for Pat will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Westfield with Pastor Barb Merwin officiating. Interment will be in Westfield South Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Deacon’s of First Presbyterian Church, Westfield or Green Lake Area Animal Shelter.
