Nancy L. Krubsack, age 70 of Westfield, formerly of Waukesha, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home. She was born on July 17, 1940 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frank and Lenore (Placzek) Eckmann. Nancy graduated from Messmer High School in 1958. She proudly served her country with the United States Air Force from 1958-1961 and as a Air Force Recruiter from 1962-1964. Nancy married Paul Krubsack on August 22, 1964 at Our Lady of Good Hope in Milwaukee. She worked at Briggs and Stratton for 19 years retiring in 1995. Nancy was a past member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha. She was a current member of Metz Mosher American Legion Post 244 of Westfield and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake, Marquette County.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Wanda) Krubsack, Watertown; daughter, Sheila (Kevin) Schmidt, Wonder Lake, IL; three grandchildren, Leann (Matt), Jackie and Alan; four great grandchildren, Lilliana, Alessia, Evalina and Leonora; two brothers, Randy (Geri) Eckmann, Sarasota, FL and Ken Eckmann, West Allis; sister in law, Ruth Unora, Milwaukee; brother in law, Robert (Marcella) Krubsack, Brookfield; dear friend, Cindy Torkilsen, Harrisville. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul on February 3, 2009.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake, Marquette County with Rev. Blaine Niskanen officiating. Full military honors will follow the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove at a later date. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
