Michael Wentland

Michael Wentland, age 21 of Harrisville, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006. He was born on February 28, 1985 in Berlin, WI, son of Jerry and Carey (Walters) Wentland. Mike graduated from Pioneer Westfield High School in 2003 where he was active in Football, Wrestling and Choir. He worked for Secluded Land Company, Coloma as the "Lumberjack". Mike had an extreme love for music, his friends and family.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Carey (Walters) Wentland, Harrisville; two sisters, Sarah (Jordan) McCoy, Harrisville, Megan (Jamey) Spencer, Reedsburg; one brother, Joe "Brosef" Wentland, Baraboo; four nieces, Emily, Evelyn and Heidi McCoy and Madison Spencer; maternal grandparents, Dean and Joan Walters, Harrisville; paternal grandparents, Sylvester and June Wentland, Reedsburg; aunts and uncles, Randy (Cindy) Walters, Nancy (Randy) Reetz, Bucky (Angie) Walters, Robert Walters, Susie (Joe) Cassini, James (Pat) Wentland, Judy Wentland; cousins, Kiley, Darika, Jamie, T.J., Alex, Glenna, Brittany, Katie, Abby, Mike, Ann and Kelly; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Jill Borgrud.
A memorial service for Mike will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Pioneer Westfield High School Auditorium, Westfield with Rev. Robert Fisher officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 PM until the hour of service at the high school auditorium.
