Michael C. Fravel, age 51 of Coloma, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1955 in Wild Rose, son of Charles and Gertrude (Heck) Fravel. Mike served his country in the United States Army. He currently worked for Peterson Produce, Oxford as Parts Manager. Mike enjoyed Nascar, golfing and socializing with friends and family.
Survivors include three daughters, Michele (Mark) Borud, Westfield, Crystal (Glen Cordell) Krueger, TX and Bobbi Jo (Terry) Kantner, Tomah; fiancée, Ellen Crego, Coloma and her children, Llana, Emily and Jared Crego; four grandchildren, Catelin and Carter Krueger, TX, Kalie and Colin Kantner, Tomah; his mom, Gertrude Fravel, Coloma; one sister, Betty (Bill) Warfield, Portage; one nephew, Geoffrey Warfield, Madison; many life long friends he considered as brothers and other relatives. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Charles.
A memorial service for Mike will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma with Rev. Kelli Fisher officiating. Full military honors will follow the service by American Legion Post #343 Coloma-Hancock. Inurnment will be in Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Coloma. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at the church.
