Mary Lou I. Janisch, age 78 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Harris Villa in Westfield. She was born on November 13, 1938 in Briggsville, the 4th of 7 children to Orville and Hazel (Linderwell) Corning. Mary Lou married LaVerne Janisch on January 25, 1958 in Briggsville. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Westfield. Mary Lou enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, baking and sharing her goodies, camping, bowling, walking and she loved anything to do with horses. Reading books was truly her passion.
Survivors include her four children, Ricky (Rossana), FL, Belinda (Phil) Parker, Pardeeville, Scott (fiancee, Cathy Czuta) Milwaukee and Kent (Amy), Coloma; 11 grandchildren, Joseph (Rachael) and Austin Janisch; Jeremy (Stacey), Jacob (Jennifer), Jordan (Lindsay) , and Jonathan (Sacia) Parker; Emily, Brian and Casey Janisch; Seth and Tanner Janisch; eight great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophia, Addison, Alexander, Jayce, Henry and Leo Parker and Alivia Cone; one brother, Roger Corning, Fall River; four sisters in law, Janet and Eleanor Corning, both of Rio, Millie Janisch, Beaver Dam and Dorothy Rees, Columbus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Arvilla (Robert) Dailey and Helen (Ralph) Crawford; three brothers, Myrwyn, Donald and Charles (Karen) Corning; one sister in law, Patty Corning.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.at Faith United Methodist Church, Westfield.
A memorial service for Mary Lou will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, Westfield with Rev. Joan Frost officiating. A private family inurnment will be in Westfield East Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
