Marvin Zuelke

Marvin E. Zuelke, age 83 of Westfield, died on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Juliette Manor in Berlin. He was born on October 9, 1927, son of the late Ervin and Pearl (Berry) Zuelke. Marvin married Jernette O. Zabel on November 29, 1947 in the Town of Crystal Lake. She preceded him in death on November 24, 1983. He owned and operated Zuelke Trucking for 48 years and farmed in the towns of Crystal Lake and Newton. On January 30, 1985, Marvin married Betty J. Scherer in Oshkosh.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; three step-daughters, Mary (Ray) Dinger, Oshkosh, Vicky (Rodney) Jones, Omro and Sue Scherer, Oshkosh; two step-grandchildren, Billy Laiten and Jennifer Kent; two brothers, Jerome (Vonda Rae), Westfield and DuWayne (Jean), Wautoma; four nephews; two nieces; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service for Marvin will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Newton with Rev. Ronald Schultz officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Newton. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
