Martha Peterson

Martha Sue Peterson, age 68 of Westfield, formerly of Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 14, 2013 at her home under the care of St. Jude Hospice of Madison. She was born on March 24, 1945 in Hamilton, AL to Hollis and Owida (Roberts) Peterson. Martha Sue was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping, dancing and being outdoors in the warmer months.

Survivors include her loving husband, Gale Boyd; four children, Alex (Melissa) Boyd, Alisa Boyd, Michael Boyd and Shannon Haight; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Martha Sue was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.

Honoring Martha Sue's wishes, no service will be held. Inurnment will be in Alabama at a later date.
