Lyle Hayes

Lyle W. Hayes, age 75 of Westfield, Township of Lincoln, Adams County, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007 following a battle with cancer at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He was born on August 14, 1931 in Oxford, son of the late William and Beulah (Lloyd) Hayes. Lyle married Sharon McCarthy on May 4, 1951 in Wisconsin Dells. He was employed as an electrician at Badger Ordinance in Baraboo for 26 years and then he moved to Florida and was employed at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers for 15 years. Lyle retired back to the Westfield area where he was able to be a jack of all trades and enjoy working on his home.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; daughter, Linda (Randy) Danielski, Menomonee Falls; one son, Lynn (Tracy) Hayes, Poynette; two granddaughters, Katie and Lisa Hayes; two sisters, Irma Haase and Lilas Elliot; two brothers, Lowell and Larry Hayes; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Lyle will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Joe Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Oxford Village Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM at the funeral home until the hour of service.
