Lori Gwen Diekfuss

Lori Gwen Diekfuss, age 64 of Tomah, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Tomah VA Medical Center.  She was born on December 9, 1958 to the late Denzil and Lois (Foss) Diekfuss.  Lori grew up in Coloma and enjoyed genealogy, playing cards, baking and Christmas time.  She served in the U.S. Navy from 1979-1984.  Lori received the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged in 1984.

Lori is survived by her sister, Lucinda (Louis) Simonds, Plover; brother, Larry Diekfuss, Coloma and four nephews.

No formal service will be held.  Inurnment will be in Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Coloma at a later date.

The family thanks all the caregivers of Tomah VA Medical Center for their devotion to the exemplary health care of Veterans.
