Lola Raatz

Lola May Raatz, age 75 of Grand Marsh, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019.  She was born on December 28, 1943 in Waukesha County, WI to Lowell and Alice (Root) Braudt.  Lola grew up on Okauchee Lake and graduated from Oconomowoc High School.  She married Gene Raatz on August 3, 1963 in Oconomowoc.  Lola worked for the Watertown School District in food service.  She was an avid horse person and loved trail riding.  Lola also enjoyed swimming and spending time with her family.

Lola is survived by her husband, Gene; two daughters, Cheri (Troy) Zimmerman and Karen (Harley) Richardt; three grandsons, Cory and Ryan Zimmerman and Dylan Richardt; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Cody Richardt.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 452 N. Main St., Westfield, WI 53964.  Inurnment will be at a later date.
