Lois Diekfuss

Lois M. Diekfuss (nee Foss), age 80 of Coloma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at her home. She was born on April 6, 1934 in Waukesha, daughter of the late William and Lulu (Austin) Foss. Lois married Denzil Diekfuss on April 10, 1954 in Waukesha. Denzil preceded her in death on October 8, 1993. She was an avid quilter and baker. Lois was a member of the Country Quilters and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, both of Coloma.

Survivors include her three children, Lori Diekfuss, Coloma, Lucinda (Lou) Simonds, Plover and Larry (Gayle) Diekfuss, Port Edwards; four grandchildren, Lucas, Levi and Logan Simonds and Ben Diekfuss; one great grandson, Ladonte Simonds; one sister, Helen Mae; other relatives and friends. Lois was preceded in death by two sisters, Mardell and Grace; one brother, Willis.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Lois will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Diekfuss home, W12850 Czech Ave., Coloma, WI 54930. Inurnment will be in Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Coloma at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
