Lillian Duesterhoeft

Lillian L. Duesterhoeft, age 74 of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Berlin Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 8, 1940 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Oscar and Marie (Ellwort) Hodge. Lillian married Herbie Duesterhoeft on August 10, 1957 in Richford, WI. Herbie preceded her in death on July 10, 1992. Lillian had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed listening to country music, going to rummage sales and cats and dogs, the more the merrier.

Survivors include her two sisters, Dorothy McKeel, Wisconsin Rapids and Edith Herron, Adams; three brothers, Jerry (Marie) Hodge, Westfield, Larry (Judy) Hodge, Nekoosa and David Hodge, Port Edwards; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Violet Land and brother, Oscar Hodge.

A funeral service for Lillian will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home of Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Newton. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
