Lillian Ciezadlo

Lillian “Lil” L. Ciezadlo, age 90 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Montello Care Center. She was born on July 18, 1922 in Chicago, daughter of the late Ludwig and Victoria Jozefiak. Lillian married Lee Ciezadlo on September 19, 1946 in Chicago. Together they moved their family to Westfield in April of 1963 and bought a resort on Lawrence Lake and named it Tall Pines Resort. She loved life at the lake and resort as well as all of her customers. Lillian enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino, shopping and most of all her family.

Survivors include two children, Janice (nee Ciezadlo) Lee and James “Brody” (Diane) Ciezadlo, both of Westfield; three grandchildren, Robert Zwolinski, Michael and Melissa Ciezadlo; brother in law, Fred (Evelyn) Ciezadlo, Westfield; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee on December 24, 1985; four sisters and four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield with Father David Carrano officiating. Burial will be in Riverside “Lawrence” Cemetery, Town of Westfield. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Montello Care Center.
