Lilah Yaap

Lilah N. (Laing) Yaap, age 64 of Oxford, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at UW Hospital in Madison. She battled her cancer courageously until the end. Lilah was born to Robert and Edna (Gaffney) Laing on February 16, 1951. She married Lawrence Yaap on March 8, 1969.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; three children, Lisa Weyh, Portage, Lori (Frank) Boykin, FL and Larry, Wisconsin Dells; four wonderful grandchildren, Devany and Sierra of Portage and Emerson and John of Florida; her truly loving sister whom she thought the world of, Phyllis (Bill) Pflum, Markesan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and her dear friends. Lilah was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Lilas Marie Laing.

A memorial service for Lilah will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 12:00 (noon) at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Oxford with Rev. Larry Sheppard officiating. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
