Lester Heintz Sr.

Lester Arthur Heintz Sr., age 72 of Westfield, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home.  He was born on August 8, 1949 in Columbus, WI to Lawrence and Josephine (Moser) Heintz.  Lester joined the U.S. Army at age 17 and fought in Vietnam from 1967 to 1970.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his family and riding around town on his “Hooter Scooter”.

Lester is survived by his son, Lester (Erin) Heintz Jr., Grand Marsh; four grandchildren, Kayde, Morgan, Rebbecca and Mathew Heintz; three sisters, Agnes, Diana and Sue; two brothers, Larry and Harley; his ex-wife, Barbara (Marx) King; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Connie; two sisters, Irene and Sally and his brother, Arthur.

A visitation for Lester will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield, WI from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating.  Full military honors will be held following the service at the funeral home.
