Lela Mae Butler

Lela Mae Butler, age 98 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Harris Villa in Westfield.  She was born on May 11, 1919 in Lake City, Illinois to Charles and Della (Dearman) Montgomery.  Mae married Frank Butler on February 4, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Frank preceded her in death on May 14, 1965.

Survivors include relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation for Mae will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield.

A funeral service for Mae will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Janet Ruark officiating.  Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery.
