Lawrence "Bud" McTier

Lawrence “Bud” McTier, age 84 of Endeavor, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.  He was born on April 6, 1936 in the Town of Moundville, Wisconsin to Frank and Nellie (Dorman) McTier.  Bud graduated from Portage High School in 1955.  He proudly served his country in the United State Marine Corps.  Bud married Lela “Lee” Perry on October 16, 1966 in Waukegan, IL.  He worked at Rock Contractors for 35 years.   Bud enjoyed fishing and woodworking in his shop.

Bud is survived by his daughter, Julie (Fred) Schott; two grandchildren, Robert and Nicole Schott; five great grandchildren, Dominic, Samara, Jaden, Natalia and Lawrence; one sister, Alice Ann Roller; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lee; son, David and his brothers and sisters.

A graveside inurnment service with full military honors will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Cemetery in Endeavor.
