Laurette H. Wood

Laurette H. Wood, age 82 of Coloma, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.  She was born on March 4, 1941 in Milwaukee to Vincent and Irene (Skoczek) Osowski.

Laurette is survived by her Husband of 40 years, Michael Wood; her forever loving son, Blaine Lusha (wife Cheryl Harvey); stepson, Jeff Wood (wife Gail); sister in law, Patricia Pinke; many special nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.  She was preceded in passing by her dear sister, Pat Klein; daughter, Heidi Lusha (infant), and ex-husband, Richard Lusha.  Laurette lived in Oconomowoc, WI for many years retiring from Delco Electronics several years prior to their moving to Coloma, WI.  Her passions included traveling, arts and crafts, gardening, birds, a variety of outdoor recreations, cooking, and an occasional low stakes casino stop.  Smiles were most always awarded to everyone!

Services to be held Sunday May 21, 2023 at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI with Visitation at 1:00, Memorial Service 2:00, and Inurnment in the Great Memorial Building.  There will also be a casual Celebration of Life to be held in the Coloma, WI area this summer where great memories were made with members of the Monroe Prairie ATV/UTV Club and area friends.
