Kathleen Kemnitz

Kathleen “Katy” M. Kemnitz, age 85 of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Parkside Retirement Community, DeForest. She was born on June 18, 1923 in White Creek, WI, daughter of the late Oscar and Mildred (Stevenson) Dunn. Katy married Donald Kemnitz on September 18, 1948 in Westfield, he preceded her in death on August 11, 1984.
Survivors include her three children, Marlyn (Julie) Kemnitz, Tomah, WI, Donna Johnson, Twin Lakes, WI and Michael Kemnitz, Quinnesec, MI; five grandchildren, Tammy (Tim) Berry, Donald (Mallory) Kemnitz, Stephanie Johnson, Briana and Zachary Kemnitz; three great grandchildren, Jordan, Skyler and Marley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Katy was preceded in death by a son in law, Robert Johnson; granddaughter, Nicole Kemnitz and one sister, Belle Jacobson.
A funeral service for Katy will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Rev. Ron Riemer officiating. Interment will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
