Joyce E. Zimmerman

Joyce E. Zimmerman, age 84 of Coloma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Heartland House in Wautoma.  She was born on August 20, 1938 in Belvidere, IL to Albert and Marie (Artz) Buse.  Joyce married Karl Zimmerman on October 19, 1957 in Stillman Valley, IL.  Joyce and Karl lived in Machesney Park, IL for 40 years before retiring to Coloma, WI in 2002.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing cards and sewing.  Joyce was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Coloma.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Karl; son, Shawn (Lori), Gilberts, IL; two grandchildren, Erik and Alison; sister, Linda Peppers; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin; two brothers, Robert (Diane) and Carl Buse and her brother-in-law, Bill Peppers.

A funeral service for Joyce will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Pastor Alyson Janke officiating.  A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, IL.
