John E. Harmon

John E. Harmon, age 75 of Westfield, passed away peacefully at his home, with his loving family by his side, on Thursday, February 6, 2025. He was born on May 30, 1949 in Portage to Eugene and Donna (Wheeler) Harmon.

John is survived by his companion of 20 years, Libby Lain; two sons, Christopher and Matthew (Victoria) Harmon; two grandchildren, Ian and Emily Harmon; one sister, Cindy (Steve) Polnow; two brothers, Ross (Lori) and Scott Connell. Libby’s two sons, Travis (Tricia Bibber) and Dustin Peterson; Libby’s five grandchildren, Graceyann, Elly, Alex, Charlotte and Parker; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial gathering for John will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield. Full military honors by the Westfield Honor Guard will follow the gathering at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
