Janice I. Saunders

Janice I. Saunders (Varvel), age 88 of Westfield, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in her home.  She was born on July 10, 1935 in Sharon, Wisconsin to Cecil Varvel and Myrtle Varvel (Arenz).

Janice grew up in Sharon and lived in Beloit, Wisconsin for many years. She was a wonderful mother and wife as well as a foster parent for a number of those years. Additionally, she worked door to door selling Fuller Brush, at Sears as a sales associate and retired from Beloit Corporation prior to her moving to Westfield.  Her passions included cooking, sewing, gardening, bird watching, reading and fishing.

Janice is survived by her sister, Beverly Behrens (Varvel); children, David Conway; Rose Summers (Conway); Sandra Nash (Conway); Bryan Conway; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and extended family. 

A private service will be held at a time yet to be determined.
