James Zajda

James P. Zajda, age 75 of Harrisville, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.  He was born on April 1, 1946 in Chicago to John and Bernice (Lonas) Zajda.  Jim married Dale Koerner on June 11, 1964.  He enjoyed working as a pipe fitter and those he worked with.  Jim loved hunting, fishing, his dogs and a good cold beer.

Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dale; two sons, Mark and Allan; 10 grandchildren, Mark Jr. (Abbey), Paige, Skylar, Alexis (Tyler), Gabrielle, Tyler (Alyssa), Hunter, Logan, Brianna and Zachary; two great grandchildren, Oliver and Amelia; two brothers, Karl (Marge) and John (Sam); two daughters in law, Vicki and Laurie; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra; son, David and brother, Richard.

A private family gathering will be held.  Inurnment will be in Harrisville Cemetery at a later date.
