Hope Laing

Hope Ann (Weir) Laing, age 66 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Berlin Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 25, 1948 in Portage, Wisconsin to William and Elsie (Traver) Weir. Hope married Curtis Laing on June 24, 1977 in Westfield. Hope enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling, cooking, baking, and being with family.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis; two children, Troy and Heidi Laing; two sisters, Charlotte (Duane) Reichhoff and Sandra Dornacker; two brothers, Jack (Mary Sue) Weir and Roger Weir; special friend, Marlene Schwenn; many other relatives and friends. Hope was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dale Weir.

A private family celebration of life service for Hope will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Town of Springfield.
