Helen Schoenfeld

Biography Helen E. Schoenfeld, age 100 of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Harris Villa, Township of Harris. She was born on May 6, 1908, Township of Newton, daughter of the late Frederick and Wilhelmina (Lippert) Wenzel. Helen married Harold W. Schoenfeld on March 11, 1926, Township of Newton, he preceded her in death on December 31, 1994. She was a life time farmer along with her husband in the Township of Harris. Helen was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Westfield.
Survivors include two grandchildren, William (Sue) Swiedarke and Susan (Walter) Kaebisch; two great grandchildren, Lauren (Loren) Young and Jacob Swiedarke; many other relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son in law, Ardis (Jim) Swiedarke; two brothers, Frederick and John Wenzel.
A funeral service for Helen will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Vicar Ron Riemer officiating. Interment will be in Harrisville Cemetery, Township of Harris. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
