Helen E. Borzick (nee Krueger), age 83 of Harrisville, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 25, 1931 in the Town of Newton to Edward and Agnes (Beutler) Krueger. Helen married Edward Borzick on June 27, 1953.
Helen taught in several schools in Marquette County for 42 years. She retired in 1993. Through the years she was involved in HCE, card club, Relay for Life, Rosary Society, Harrisville Brat Fest and was involved in many more organizations. She loved spending time with her family and traveling with her sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Edward; ten children, Patricia (Tom) Katz, Reeseville, Barbara (Donald) Lang, Montello, David (Sally) Borzick, Montello, Katherine (Robin) Buchholz, Oxford, Kenneth (Cheryl) Borzick, Montello, James (Pam) Borzick, Shadyside, OH, Robert Borzick, Neshkoro, Ann (Perry) Drew, Westfield, Mary (Scott) Pitta, Wisconsin Dells and John (Lisa) Borzick, Montello; 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; one brother, Gordon (Denise) Krueger, Montello; three sisters, Arlene (Charles) Kissack, Baraboo, Marge (John) Uphoff, Dane and Betty Cady, Dane; sister in law, Bernice Mittelstedt, Harrisville; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Alvin Krueger and two infant grandsons.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Harrisville Sportsmen’s Club Community Center. A private family Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton.
