Harold Edwin Juhnke, age 82 of Westfield, passed away on Saturday morning, August 25, 2007 at Wild Rose Manor, Wild Rose where he was a resident for the past five years. He was born on January 27, 1925 in Milwaukee, son of the late Henry and Minnie (Abraham) Juhnke. Harold was confirmed on July 24, 1938 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Township of Newton by Rev. T. Fiess. He grew up on the family farm which he and his wife, Elnora, took over and farmed for many years. Harold married Elnora Lange on June 12, 1948 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake, she preceded him in death on January 2, 1987.
Survivors include his sister, Lucille (Ervin) Streich, Montello; sisters and brothers in law, Doris (Arlie) Marquardt, Caroline (Ervin) Briese, Edward (Marilyn) Lange and Kathy (Henry) Rivera; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Harold will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Township of Newton with Rev. Ronald Schultz officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
