Goldean Siefkes

Goldean L. Siefkes, age 87 of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at her home. She was born on December 14, 1920 in Westfield, daughter of the late Walter and Leona (Roller) Fritz. Goldean married Albert G. Siefkes on June 3, 1945 in Township of Springfield, Albert preceded her in death on June 27, 1993. She worked as a cook at the Westfield High School for 15 years. Goldean was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Westfield and First Presbyterian Church, Westfield.
Survivors include one son, Michael (Heidi) Siefkes, Jefferson; two grandsons, Thomas and Matthew Siefkes; one sister, Irene O'Neil, Westfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Goldean was preceded in death by one brother and sister in law, Alvin (Priscilla) Fritz; one brother in law, Kermit O'Neil.
A funeral service for Goldean will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Westfield with Pastor Joe Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
