Gloria Jean Accola

Gloria Jean Accola, age 76 of Westfield, WI, formerly of Baraboo, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Edgewater Haven in Port Edwards, WI.  She was born on June 20, 1947 in Madison to George and Dorothy (Brunkow) Accola.

Gloria proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then in the Wisconsin National Guard.  She worked at Perry Printing in Baraboo for 19 years.  Gloria was a very caring and giving person who loved babysitting all of her nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed to read, especially comic books.

She is survived by her siblings, Russell Accola, Linda (David) Atkins, Alan (Margaret) Accola, Les Accola and JoAnn Accola; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Gloria will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Denzer United Methodist Church, S8284A Denzer Rd., North Freedom.  A luncheon will follow the service at church and inurnment with full military honors will be held after lunch at Salem Honey Creek Cemetery in Prairie du Sac.
