Glen Siepp

Glen J. Siepp, age 85 of Westfield/Oxford, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Tivoli in Portage. He was born on November 4, 1928 in Rapid City, SD, son of the late LeRoy and Zella (Knight) Siepp. Glen proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Geraldine “Geri” Siepp on May 23, 1959 in Denver, CO. Geri preceded him in death on February 15, 2008. Glen’s passion was woodworking. He left his fingerprint throughout the Westfield Area School District during his employment of 14 years creating and building many pieces of furniture and other wood projects. With this talent, Glen was also able to design and build his own home.

Survivors include two children, Steve (Sharon) Siepp, Philadelphia, Marifrances (Brian) Schaffrath, Westfield; three grandchildren, Chuck (Virginia) Rillera Jr., Philadelphia, Jacob and Sophia Schaffrath, Westfield; two great grandchildren, Charles III and Lily Rillera; sister in law, Arlene Edwards, CA; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Glen will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield with Rev. Tim Renz officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery with full military honors. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
